In Jan 2022 I bought my first plan with Vodafone in the winter sale, it was a plan based on their unlimited 1 GB basics tariff but it had 2GB + 3GB + 4GB + 5GB additional data, coming to a total of 15GB data. However this is coming to an end in a few days.
What I'm not sure about is, given that the contract is ending in a few days, what my data allowance will be - will it stay as 15GB or will I lose the additional 2+3+4+5 GB of data and I will only have 1GB left of data moving forward after the contract ends?
Also I have the option to upgrade to a 5GB plan for a pound extra (assuming the answer to the above is that I won't keep my additional data), but I presume that my new payment will replace my current payment, NOT go on top of it?
Solved! Go to best answer.

Networks are obliged to notify when a contract is ending @Zoltan69 detailing all your options.
If you don't renew the current contract should continue the same on a 30 day roll over until you cancel or upgrade. Not sure about Basics but can check how long the promotional data is valid from your online account or Application. Live Chat or Customer Services will confirm.
If you take a new agreement it will be at the new allowance.

You shouldn't do, but that's a fantastic offer so it would be worth checking the original terms if you still have the comfirmation email. It's possible that some of the additional data was time-limited. I also have the basic 1gb with another 2 and that's been in place for over a year (it's still worth paying the annual increase rather than updating back to the basic price).
If you can't find your confirmation email, dorp the Social Media team a note on Facebook or Twitter and they'll be able to check your account and tell you where you stand.

You will not lose any of the Additional Data. I have the same Tariff and it is now over 12 months.
It has not changed.
