For the last 6 months I have had intermittent 5G connectivity issues around NE1 7AS, Newcastle city centre. I have network updates setup and there seems to be a lot of work / maintenance. Although I get a text to confirm the work has been successfully completed, within a few days I have no 5G. Although the phone connects to 4G (2 bars) I cannot use the internet and when accessing MyVodafone App it fails showing error 8401.
Weirdly, the issue appears to start on a Tuesday every week and I go through the same diagnostics of network selection, network setting reset, etc. with no success. It cannot be recent building work as it wouldn't improve, which it does later in the week..
This must be impacting others in the NE1 area and as an ex-EE customer, I am starting to regret switching to the Vodafone network..
Can someone share exactly what work is being undertaken that is impacting NE1 7AS and include any planned outages or improvements in the next 6, 12 and 18 months, please?
