I'm trying to upgrade my contract early on a flexi upgrade. When I try to add my advantage code it won't allow it and says I can only use one discount. There is no other discount applied to the plan.
If I use the discount code as if I were taking out a new plan and put it in the promotion code box at the checkout it works and the discount is applied.
Both plans are exactly the same.
Why can't I use it when upgrading? I can see nothing anywhere that would prohibit me from using it.

Unfortunately live chat are as helpful as a chocolate teapot and I can't even get through to 191...

Hey @beckywebb04 I'm sorry to hear our Live chat team were unable to help with your upgrade. As @AnnS advised, you'll need to wait until your latest contract expires before upgrading and adding your VEA discount. This is due to the flexi upgrade already including a discounted early termination/upgrade fee.

No, this isn't right either because if I try it with a different phone it still works. Problem is, I don't want that phone...
