Age Restriction

I am appalled, that in this day and age Vodafone are asking customers to verify their age using a credit card. Who would ask anyone to randomly put credit card details in?! I appreciate that they have the right intention, in ensuring that the right aged people are looking at the right sites for their age but this isn’t the way to do it. You had my age when I took out my initial contract. I won’t be giving anyone my credit card details!

Hey @spam1405 I hope you are well. A credit card is an easy way to verify a customers age as you have to be over the age of 18 to have one. You can also verify your age by popping into a Vodafone store with some ID or you can drop a message to the Social Media team here and they will verify it.

Hi @spam1405

I appreciate your viewpoint on this.

Personally I do not use or need a Credit Card so I chose to go into a Vodafone Highstreet Store with some Photo I D and the store employee lifted the account restrictions in house.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎
