Evening,
So I renewed one of my phones and it had the offer of free airpods. A webchat a short while after advised they will be sent within 30 days.
30 days later and another webchat and it is apparently 30 working days, they are sent direct from Apple, I'll receive a despatch notice by email and Vodafone have no mechanism to check/chase.
30 working days is up today and I've heard nothing.
Has anyone had theirs? If so, how long did it takr from purchase/renewal to actually getting them? I'm loathed to speak to Vodafone for them to just move the goal posts again.

Was told 4 different things each time weve called... last one is they are now meant to arrive today... which i have no tx no email of confirmation of the 1hr time slot they spoke of... i said well what happens if i dont hear anything monday and they said they will issue a return and pay for the airpods..... so guess im phoning for the 5th time today.... was one of the reason we took the 2x iphone 11 contracts. 30 days was the 11th jan... still waiting.

Hi all I have been waiting for my airpods since December 2019 always different answers from customer service, I was sold my contact by the promotion team on the 9-12-19 my contact was not due to end until April 2020 but being a loyal customer I was entitled to upgrade early & receive free airpods if I did!!! I was told do not worry you will get them YOU ARE entitled to them, I can not remember how many times I have spoken to C/Service about them, I was told at one point that I'm on the wrong contract for the offer & was offered £10 for the inconvenience JOKE absolute JOKE, I have just called again to be advised that they are out of stock & will be back in sometime in February, I think another lie yet again fobbed off, NOT A HAPPY VODAFONE CUSTOMER. I understand it's not the fault of customer service but it is their job to help and I don't feel that has happen & so the sarga continues 😡😡

I was told yesterdst there is a 10,000 order backlog..... then they proceeded to say they cant do the refund thing as they had a definative answer from warehouse that i will receive both sets of airpods today..... well guess what no email no text of hr slot confirmation and promised a call back at 11am today..... totally unacceptable and shocking service....
