I started getting an extra £15 a month charge on my monthly bill.. actually could be more like £20.. anyways.. i tried online chat..couldn't speak to an actual person.. tried to ring up about a complaint but just couldn't get through...said i wanted an upgrade.. guess what? straight through..
The guy on the phone couldn't explain the extra charge and tbh didn't seem to care and was more interested in trying to get me to upgrade.. eventually said he thinks it's tax..which it definitely isn't.. now i've just looked at my latest bill and there seems to be an extra £25 at least on there for no reason..i'd like to know what's going on as i don't wanna be paying that for the next 6 months as well then £35 etc..
to me it looks like the extra £15 was them "accidentally" charging me twice for insurance.. as i remember getting an email at some point saying my insurance was renewed but now i'm not paying insurance to save money but it's actually costing more.. that's even more of a mystery...who do i speak to to sort it out? Thanks

You have already been through customer service channels @DemonSurfer777 , I would recommend the Social Team with a link to the thread here: Contact Us . You also have the complaints process here: Complaints
Vodafone should itemise the extra charge on your monthly billing and this should show on your online account. This may well be a discount that has ended and Vodafone are now charging the full price of the contract. However, we can't see your bill, the Social Team will certainly address this for you and get it solved.

It's not itemised on my bill, that's the reason i've been trying to find out what it's for...also my brand new bill has an extra £25 on top with no explanation...i've literally just started a new contract .. ( i know.. probably a big mistake ) so a discount obviously can't have ended for that.. it was fine up until 6 months ago.. 18 months into my contract..
thanks for the reply,i'll try your suggestions and let you know what happens..

oh and btw.. the £2 a month off my broadband ended after 18 months but that still doesn't account for the other £20+

If it's a new contract @DemonSurfer777 , this will be pro rata billing, Vodafone charge in advance and you will be charged part of a month to bring you in line with your billing date, plus the following month in advance. If you check the dates on the bill you should be able to see the extra days charging.
It looks like you have two enquiries here for the Social Team to address.

i'm talking to them now... so apparently i have to pay an extra £23 a month for my actual phone number on top of everything else.. obviously you can't use a phone without a number

It sounds like an Evo contract @DemonSurfer777 , the device plan will be separate from the airtime part of the contract and you will receive the bills in two parts.
Apart from the information on the website, there is a video explanation here: Evo

The new one i just signed up to a few days ago could be even though that wasn't actually mentioned until i'd already signed up but the old one defintely wasn't.. whatever it's called adding £20+ to your bill after you already agreed to a set price is probably illegal or at best very deceptive but anyways .. apparently in 2 months my bill should actually be what i was quoted in my contract..nice.. but i doubt it.. that'll make up for being overcharged for 8 months then... if i sound a little annoyed it's because i am and you would be too.. a straight answer would be nice.. all i want is to pay what was agreed to,not alot to ask is it? Always paid my bills on time for the last 4 years i've been with them.. as i mentioned it was all fine up until 6 months ago..thanks for the reply btw
