Hi

I reported my phone as lost to Vodafone on Sunday 27th Sept who blacklisted device, luckily for me phone was returned to me same day. So I contacted Vodafone requesting device be unblacklisted and bar removed from Sim. 13 days on and over 10 live chats online with agents, 2 telephone calls, numerous tweets and a visit to local vodafone store my device is still blacklisted. My patience is now non-existent as noone at vodafone appear to be able to help. They put blacklist on phone very easily why cant they remove it. Am at my wits end. Anyone help? Thanks Leigh

@Mcleebee It shouldn't be taking this many efforts to get the phone unblacklisted Leigh, I understand having a working phone these days is more important than ever! When you've tweeted us, have we invited you into DM's yet and discussed this further?

Hi Josh, after 2 weeks and many many many communication exchanges, and a waived bill for this month my phone was today finally unblacklisted.  Thanks leigh

Hi is there any info on what the problem was in the end, I’m having the same issue and I’m at my wits end.

Let's get this sorted for you @Pinkypurky! I'm sorry your phone hasn't been un-blacklisted yet. If you're the original owner of the phone and have used your SIM in the phone previously, please get in touch with us on Facebook or Twitter so we can take your details securely and get things resolved.

If you've recently purchased the phone and found that it's blacklisted, the original owner would need to reach out their provider.

Hi,

thanks for the reply, thankfully the tech team managed to finally get the phone unlocked this morning.  Not sure why it was such an issue to be removed but thankfully all good now.

cheers

Hi there, problem was that the support team never removed the blacklist at their end despite requesting about 20 times. I ended up getting it resolved finally after 3 weeks by tweeting a message to Vodafone Group and Vodafone Uk. Was contacted by vodafone group who escalated it as a priority due to their failure to fix issue. They kindly also waived one months bill, then I got follow up call and then applied a £75 credit onto the following months bill. Good luck as know how you feel. Live chats are waste of time. Using Twitter my phone was unblacklisted within 24 hours.
