I had my phone stolen on 28/8/22 whilst in London

Visited a vodafone shop in London on 29/8/22 - advised phone stolen and given a new SIM

Contacted my insurers who need proof of Purchase/Usage and blacklisting

Contacted Vodafone by phone who promised Usage/Blacklisting. Got Proof of purchase from Apple

Usage form arrives but no blacklisting - X1 visit to local shop and 4 calls later still no joy -VODAFONE please phone me and sort this out

It's standard practice for Vodafone customer service to refuse to blacklist any device that wasn't supplied directly by Vodafone.

So how can I get the phone blacklisted and provide proof to my insurer?

Spunds like the form you've filled out needs chasing @DavidL123

Speak with customer services again on 191 or Live Chat and also with your insurers to keep them in the loop.

It's stressful enough having this happen in the first place so I'm sure Vodafone will want to keep this as seamless and fast as possible.

If necessary raise a ticket via complaints/code-of-practice.

I wish you all the best.  😎

If you completed this online form How do I get proof of purchase?  @DavidL123 , Vodafone should have been able to send you proof of blacklisting.  It's standard practice for Vodafone to blacklist a stolen device when reported stolen at the same time as restricting the SIM.
