Hello
Am new to this forum, been with Vodafone for 2 months so far & been really happy on Unlimited Max deal & speeds are excellent even in busy places. But i have one problem, and that's calling my brothers mobile. He has no blocks on my number and neither do i. No calling bars are on my account except roaming & premium rate numbers. But whenever i try to call his number on Three the call ends before it can connect. I ported my number from Three and everything went fast and smooth. But this issue is confusing me as I have tried everything but to no avail. Am using a Nokia 8.1 and no calls are blocked on my account or on the phone itself. Confused

Can he ring you Ok ?
As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone and then ring your brother.
See if your brother can do the same.
Also can you try ringing someone else on the 3 network to see if the same issue exists or not.
Some self help troubleshooting could be to remove his number from your contacts entirely , clear call lists such as recent etc and re add it then try again.
Vodafone Customer services can check on their end to see if any issues present themselves.
Ask your brother to call 3 and ask them to check their end.
When did the port from 3 to Vodafone happen ? I ask as sometimes the porting in files do not properly settle causing a problem called Split Porting.
Vodafone customer service can ask their porting in Teams to investigate if this is the issue.
If you hit a brick wall then try the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Hi, sorry I know this post is old, but I’m having exactly the same issue. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
The number I’m trying to call used to be Vodafone and ported to o2 a while back I don’t know if that’s causing any issue.
Thanks!

If you're having no problems calling any other numbers @ktailor22, it sounds like the issue maybe connected to the number you're calling. Please ask the account holder for the o2 number to reach out to them directly regarding this.

Hi Mark,
thanks for your reply. We’ve also contacted o2 and they have confirmed everything is fine from their side. These numbers I used to be able to contact before when I was on BT the issue seems to have been since I’ve moved to Vodafone in the last week. Could this be a split port? I can contact another number on o2 with no issue. They also able to receive other calls from Vodafone too. Thanks
