Can I pay my Vodafone monthly bill using an American Express Card?

Hello!

I'm currently with O2 but considering switching. I need to be able to pay my bill using an AMEX card but haven't managed to get a straight answer out of Vodafone staff - sadly (and confusingly) EE and others allow you to pay your initial fee at checkout, but not your monthly fee - thus far I've only seen that O2 accepts AMEX for your monthly bill.

Just if you have any experience I'd really appreciate it if you shared, thank you so much and have a good rest of your day!

Hi @Anonymous! I've done some digging and you're able to make payments with an American Express card, however, these would need to be manual payments made by you through our IVR or Secure Payment process each month. The cards we accept for automatic monthly payments are:

• VISA credit and debit (UK and International)
• VISA Electron
• MasterCard credit and debit (UK and International)
• Maestro credit and debit (UK and International)

When you say IVR or Secure Payment, would those be via an automated call or through the MyVodafone app/website? With my current network, I need to manually go through their app too, so that wouldn't be a problem!
