Credit checks

I recently took out a Vodafone contract for my daughter, the credit check went through via carphone warehouse and Vodafone (so 2 hard searches were left on my credit report, and i was allowed to proceed) however when checking my credit report last night another hard search has been done by "Vodafone gemini" and a second hard search by carphone warhouse, why is this? Do I need to be looking into fraud or is this normal? And what is Vodafone gemini? Thanks in advance.

That does sound like way too many searches @TPilkington 

I'd certainly recommend to speak with CPW Customer Support and Vodafone Customer Support vua 191 , Live Chat or via the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM.

This will be correct @TPilkington .

When you apply for credit through a third party you will see two searches on your file. In your case you have the initial search for Carphone and Vodafone when the contract was taken out and repeated for the closing of the credit search and these search will be counted as one enquiry.

You should be able to get this clarified from the credit reference agencies.  If there are any questions regarding the credit check, Carphone should be able to help.
