Hi Guys,


"You have had at least one account in Default or Repossession (VODAFONE LTD GEMINI)"


I've noticed this on my credit file but I have never had a Vodaphone account. I've tried calling speaking to an agent via chat and he couldnt find my details via postcode, mobile number and name.


When i try to call customer service, because i dont have a phone number registered it will not connect me to anyone!


This is the only 'Negative' on my profile and I would very much like to get this cleared up.


Anyone know the correct steps to get this looked into and resolved?






Hey @Adyciornei I can certainly appreciate how concerning this must be and we definitely need to get this checked out. As there is no account access on the Forum, please reach out to the Social Media Team here so they can look into this for you. 

Can you help me also with a default on my account from 2019, i didn’t get a Vodafone account until approx 2020. Thank you. 

@ChristopherHugh - my team can help to investigate what's happened and where the default's come from. Please some and talk to us through Social Media

Is there any way I can get a message too. I have the same issue, I've only registered on here because of the "default" to my credit. 


I've been a pay as you go customer for the last 4 years, and yet I have this issue.

I had a default which was later sold to a debt collection agency. I paid it in full a few months ago but it has already been reflected on my credit file but I still have a problem because on my file it shows that I have £20 in arrears that I owe to Vodafone Gemini. I have spoken to the Vodafone, the credit scoring agency, the debt collection agency but have received no help on clearing the amount. I know it is paid but it still shows up and it’s bringing my credit score down. Could I get some help?

Unfortunately account access isn't available via this forum.

However if you contact the Team via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM then they can access your account to help and I necessary involve their Credit File Specialist Team's.


I wish you all the best with this as it's beneficial to get any outstanding amount showing as settled if that's the case. 

However a default if warranted will remain on your Credit File for 6 years from the original default date.

Hi, I too have checked my credit score and it's showing a default for 6 payments (for £12) from Jan 2022. I closed my Vodafone account in April 2021. Can some one clear this issue for me please?
