I have an airtime contract that has expired and as I am happy with the price and unlimited internet I have continued to use it out of contract until the device payments are complete. (Its annoying that airtime is 2 years whereas the device is 3 years).
I want to change the handset for a new one but keep using the expired contract. I have made enquires and there are no suitable contracts with unlimited internet allowance available,
My question is can I take obtain a new handset on monthly payments but retain my airtime usage as it is without having to agree to a new contract?

If you upgrade to a new phone @Whitters2024 , your current airtime plan will end and you will be offered a new airtime plan to go with the upgrade. If you follow the information from Vodafone on the FAQ's on the Evo link this will be explained Evo
The other alternative is to purchase the phone SIM free direct from the manufacturer or third party.
