Hi up until december last year i was with vodphone on a staff contract, i called to cancel the phone and was then mugged over the period of my phone being cancelled, ive now had fraud on one of my other accounts and they wont allow me to update anything without 1st a confirmation code to my old number...
I dont have the phone and i dont currently havr access to the sim but i am hoping since my contracted ended just over 30 days ago there might be a way to to rescue me.
As it stands every day someone is trying to take momey off me and the company will only help if i can confirm i am who i say i am with my old number. I know in the past old numbers are often made into a pay as you go or something i am just really really hoping there is a way to help me.
Ive been at this since monday and the other company refuses to help me futher without a code.

I do hate it when the name of the company is incorrectly spelt (Vodafone) especially when it come from an ex staff member.
You mention the other company @RichardKehoe . Do you mean Vodafone or an alternative network?
Only you mention having cancelled the contract. If you still have other numbers with Vodafone, one of the other numbers would have become your main account number. As a ex staff member you would know about passing security and there would be no reason for Vodafone being unable to help.

I am not ex vodaphone staff i had a staff deal due to the company i workes for that got me a discounted contract. I only had the one number with vodaphone, my current mobile was provided by my employer which is an alternative network.
I appplogise for my spelling mistakes, i was just trying to reach out and find out if i had an old contract that was cancelled recently there was any way to get the number a pay as you go sim so i could try and resolve the issues j am having with an alternative company (not a network provider)

Yes @RichardKehoe you still spelt the name of the company incorrectly in your reply. It's Vodafone.
I am sorry for the misunderstanding, it's wasn't made clear you were referring to the Vodafone Advantage Employee discount.
