How to Resolve Billing Texts going to Landline

I'm gettting /so/ frustrated with Vodafone trying to get a problem resolved

 

/Rant on/ Just moved from 35 to 7 in chat queue then bounced back to the end of the queue. That took half an hour - not waiting another half hour as I've had this happen before and the same issue recurs - ie wait a long time and then get bounced back to the end of the queue. Tried to speak to someone, eventually got through whilst listening to messages about why next time I should use chat 'for an instant response' :Sad_face: Phone line went dead whilst call agent was opening up my account. Another hour wasted!! What dreadful service!! /Rant off/

 

The problem I'm trying to resolve is my account settings has bill payment notifications coming by txt to my mobile. In practice, I get two precorded messages to my landline to say there is a txt to be picked up.

 

I did speak to an agent a couple of months who said the problem was being caused by an 'old system' that she couldn't change but she'd email the deparment that could change it and this would resolve the issue. Whatever might have happened did not work.

 

Does anyone in Vodafone monitor these messages so I can get some resolution to the issue since, from the start, I must have spent hours trying to resolve it and the thought of going into more unsuccessful chat and call queues fills me with horror.
