I cannot access my account

 Hello all.  I have been with Voda for years, A recent email offered updates. these looked ok so went to log in and proceed.  My account details did not work. The I was then  locked out.  Phoned  in and got new info ,none of which worked. I now have 5 emails with 5 different temporary passwords. None of these work.  3 hours spent today with very patient agents. I stay polite at all times no angry stuff. 

        They did set me up with a new deal  on the phone which was fine. I just cannot get into the account !  Does this actually matter ? do I really need to see this ? Has anyone else resolved this. I have 14 days to cancel. Everything works well , except this . Having left the horrible Virgin some years back due to rip offs and aggressive nasty people, I would prefer to stay with Voda.  Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Each and every time after changing passwords, you need to clear your cookies and cache on the PC, otherwise it will be a cookies preventing you from logging in

 

The account has been locked for all the security reasons due to far too many log in attempts and password changes.

 

You have already exhausted Customer Service channels, for account access now speak to the Social Team through Twitter or Facebook channels here: Contact Us and the Team will get this fixed to enable you to log into into your online account.

 

When you are able to log into your online account the Application will follow and you will also be able to manage the account from there.  This will also be something where the Social Team will be able to help when they have received your DM message.

 

 

Thanks for your reply, I did not think of that. My age and infirmity  give me problems at times. I will work out how to do the thing you advise.  I may wait until some younger folk visit and get them to do this.

  I have the same problem ,account locked, no reason given, paid by DD for decades. I was trying to buy the new iphone 15 . No luck. Account locked ????? ##~## !!!!

The solution is to switch to BT which is now in progress.  Voda is now becoming another Elderly Hostile service, More than 30 years loyal customer and this is the garbage I get.

If you've tried clearing your browsers cache and cookies, tried a new browser entirely and tried resetting your log in credentials here and are still facing trouble please reach out to us via our Social Media Team here and we'll take a closer look into this with you.

 

February 24 now and i still cannot access my account. Tomorrow 26 Feb 24 I am contacting BT to change over. It is obvious that Voda do not give a hoot for customers.

It is now clear that all these replies ie ,do this ,do that , contact here and there, rather than solve a reasonable request is indirect age discrimination, I have already pointed out that your service is elderly hostile, you have not attempted to justify this. It is illegal to discriminate on grounds of age. I have contacted  Citizens advice,  Age Concern ,a Journalist, and trading standards. I also request a Deadlock letter  to be issued.  Someone is having fun at my expense .
