No delivery after 2 weeks

I put an upgrade in for 2 z fold3 phones on the 7th December and I’m still waiting 2 weeks later which is disgusting especially as I’ve been a loyal customer spending over £350 a month, none of the staff can tell me anything apart from it will be dispatched in 24 to 48 hours lol, I’m actually thinking about leaving vodafone now after nearly 20 years because I'm fed up now like the hundreds more that are having the same problem. I've never had a problem with vodafone until now so what the hell has changed and what makes it worse is im going to miss out on the cash back from samsung as it ends on the 30th dec 2021. I also brought a samsung watch from them at the same time but I received that but cant use it as I have an iphone 12 pro max so I'm paying for something I cant use. Loyal customer!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi @Jgreer

I agree the current delays must be frustrating for people who actively want to be with Vodafone, and take up an offer of a phone etc.

The Fold³ is certainly an impressive piece of hardware and software to which I'm using one myself too.

I did see this announcement from Vodafone in regards to Order Delays however I appreciate the situation is frustrating for people.

I'm a Customer just like you and hope you get your phone's ASAP.

Whilst I completely sympathise with your frustration and how annoying these delays can be, it would seem a shame for you to move elsewhere particularly as you have never had any issue with Vodafone up until now.  And that's good going for 20 years as a customer 😉

Obviously its your own decision whether you decide to stay or move to another network, just be aware though unfortunately the 3 other networks are not much better generally.   Please understand I'm not telling you what you should or shouldn't do, its just shame after 20 years without any real issues this fiasco has forced you into that decision.

I'm certainly not defending Vodafone with regards to all these ridiculous delivery delays, (I'm also waiting for a delivery) but just highlighting other networks are also having issues (probably due to Christmas demand and the present circumstances with Covid etc..) - so better the devil you know sometimes before you consider moving to another network.  Anyway I really hope you receive your phone asap & you can put this terrible experience behind you. And have a nice Christmas 😉

I’ve had issues with Vodafone on many different occasions but didn’t want to bring them up as this is separate to those, the problem is one of the phones is a Christmas present and I’m loosing money with the cash back offer, I’ve also got contracts with ee and I can say I’ve never really had any major problems with them so if this isn’t sorted soon I’ll be moving over to them because I’ve had deliveries from the USA that’s got here quicker and the bit about the Christmas rush it a loud of bull!! They have blamed it on everything but none of it is the truth

Ah I see, gotcha.. yeah I have a EE (an old employee tariff that I'm still on) that I use for mainly business, my partner has O2 and my main personal number is on Three.  And now back to Voda also for my son, I guess I'm covered on all bases! 😁

For me I have had minor issues on all of them tbh but nothing really serious. I would personally say EE has by far the best customer care, but even Three are brilliant for pricing & a super quick buying experience. O2 fine as long as you dont ever need to call customer care.

As for Vodafone, I'm a returning customer from many years ago so I cant really comment on my overall experience with them. But it hasn't started out great with all of these delivery issues & poor communication  - it doesn't exactly fill me with overwhelming confidence.  Customers just want upfront honesty without all these false promises causing even more frustration.

But I do totally understand, these delivery delays are beyond ridiculous (especially when many will probably be Christmas gifts too) and I would of expected far better from a big network like Vodafone, so I certainly don't blame you in considering leaving.
