Hi, I got a text earlier about another persons bill - I know it is the correct Vodafone number as it is the same one I got told about my bills from.

This sounds like a system error which shouldn't happen again hopefully.
Please let customer services know via 191 , Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Twitter or Facebook Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries. So they can check things at their end.
