Trying to migrate to voxi

Shewolf1877
4: Newbie

I have a pac code

I’m trying to bring my number to voxi from a pay monthly account from Vodafone. That account was in my husbands name.

I was told that I didn’t need the pac as Vodafone and Voxi are sister companies, so it will all be swift and easy.

I knew I had important calls coming through on Friday so I didn’t activate it that day in case I lost service.

I am terminally ill.

I activated it on Monday and then found out my health has worsened and the hospital is looking to find me a bed to have a procedure done. The hospital can’t get hold of me.

I’ve spoken to the people at Voxi in India and they are useless. They keep telling me there is no order for my number to be ported, then there is an order (someone called Kartrik told me he did this on Monday) then my husband needs to speak to them.

The Vodafone sim is dead. My husband spoke to Vodafone this morning and they said it is nothing to do with them.

Really grateful for any help.

Wish I never heard of voxi but I trusted in the process 🙄

Hi Gemma,

thank you I’m reconnected with my old number. I have a lady called Farina to thank in India.

She could see that her colleague had processed a disconnection but no reconnection of the number to voxi. It was sorted in minutes.

Finally someone who knows what they are doing and girl power as she did what her male colleague couldn’t do earlier.

@Shewolf1877 - this is great news, thanks for letting me know. I'm glad your number is active again and I'm sorry that the reconnection not being processed as caused all of this. I wish you all the best.

Can you see I now  have a new forum post please-be grateful if you could help-I’m leaving voxi to come back to Vodafone

@Shewolf1877 - it isn't good to hear you've had another poor experience. How can I help today?

I’m now trying to migrate from

 voxi to Vodafone.

here's the message I posted on here and  now can’t find

to try and make this easy

  1. I was on my husbands contract phone as I have cancer and thought it was easier.

I lived longer than expected

Vodafone wanted to put the package up £28 a month.

  1. I ported to voxi (awful, do not touch these with a tungsten coat on.) This took nearly a week. In the meantime the hospital and Drs couldn’t get hold of me.  Voxi told blatant lies. I kept records they finally moved my number over. I had decided to leave as 0845 numbers weren’t included.
  2. I bought a Vodafone sim pack and followed Voxi migration package. Was meant to go through by 4pm yesterday.  No I’ve had a message saying Hello Apologies for the inconvenience caused.Unfortunately, we are unable to process your migration request, as both the numbers are active on Vodafone PAYG (Pay as you go).

Please understand we at Porting Back Office Team would require your Keeping number on Vodafone PAYG (Pay as you go) to replace it with the Vodafone Contract number in order to process your request.

We request you to please contact customer services on 191 or click on the link below and select your convenient option to get in touch with them for further assistance regarding your request.

http://www.vodafone.co.uk/contact-us/index.htm

  1. If you wish you may contact Ports & Migration Team on direct number 03333040400 (opt 2) for the same.
  2. Thank you,
  3. Payal Patel
  4. The Vodafone Porting team

I have of course tried both numbers listed without success and they are based in Egypt and don’t ring back if the call drops out.

Again, I can’t get calls from my GP or the hospital.

They also took another £10 when it was blocked.

They don’t know what a deadlock letter is.

Please is there a community manager who can help

  1. get my number ported asap
  2. Get the refund of £20 allocated to my account as I was told would happen originally.
  3. Get me a deadlock letter please

Thank you,

Claire

@Shewolf1877 - I'm sorry it's come to this again and your service is disconnected. Usually VOXI would request your number to move from them, to Vodafone Pay as you. So we can check what's happening, please contact my team on Social Media and include a link to this thread.

Hi Gemma,

Finally done this now to fb messenger.
Thank you.

FAO GEMMA  community manager. I’ve been fobbed off again please I expect your staff to do better

They’ve just passed me over to Voxi  to go through all the checks again.

Voxi don’t know what they are doing….

Thanks for passing security Claire! I've checked both accounts and can see that the number 44773…. is already on VOXI so you should be able to use this no problem. Do you have a separate VOXI SIM? If so, could you please pop this in your phone and you should be up and running. Let me know how this goes!
The other number you provided is already on standard Vodafone pay as you go 😊 Ami

Hi @Shewolf1877 I'm really sorry for the issues you're facing with this, I can see this has been picked up again in the Vodafone queue and we are now working to get this resolved for you. I apologise again for the time this is taking but I am confident we will have everything completed for you soon.
