I need to call a number starting 0871, but I get a message down the phone saying I need to either top up, or buy a plan. I'm paying £15 a month for the 15gb plan and it says I have 22 days left. Any ideas??

Hi @annoyedUser25

To call premium rate numbers you will need additional credit on top of your monthly bundle.  The charges for calling numbers our of plan are here: Screenshot (14).png

Have a word with Voxi Customer Support to see if a call bar is on your account for those types of calls @annoyedUser25

To add from Will-I-be-charged-for-calling-premium-rate-numbers-on-VOXI.

“ Will I be charged for calling premium rate numbers on VOXI?

Yes. Premium rate numbers aren’t covered by our endless calls, meaning you’ll be charged for them as you normally would.

However, this will come out of your top up credit, like it does with Pay as you go. So if you haven’t topped up, you can’t call these numbers on VOXI - no need to worry about extra charges outside your plan.”

Cheers for the fast response.

Voxi "Support" was the first place I went. It amounts to a bot that can only answer a certain amount of questions, then when it fails to answer it tries to redirect you to an advisor, which I assume is a real person, but the chat just gets stuck in a loop of talking to the bot. I don't have messenger or twitter, so seems like i'm stuck?

I reactivated my Facebook just to chat to them. Thanks for you help

You're very welcome @annoyedUser25

As you can see in my reply I've covered the probable reason why your finding issue with this.

The cist would come from available top up credit.

I've tried to add credit on the voxi website for three days now so that I can make an important premium call, but always gives me an error.  Is there another way to add credit to my voxi number?  Perhaps via the Vodafone website?

Hi @durpydurp

The first thing to do is to clear your cookies and cache, close down the browser and then try again, you also need to make sure you are using a UK card.  Try topping up with a different card, it may be an issue with Vodafone Voxi accepting the card.

If you still have problems, Voxi support will advise further and help.

Thank you!  Changing the card worked.  Why don't they just say that the card needs to be UK?  So simple to do.  That would avoid days of frustration like this.
