Just as the title says, after I missed my direct debit you changed my account from a contract to PAYG and now I have no way of paying my bill, each month I get a negative mark on my account for missed payment, I get a text every month about my bill to the number I have which was the contract number but is now PAYG, when I click paymybill it just says I'm PAYG there's no bill amount and no one on the phone can help, I was told you werent able to help as I can't pay it as it being packaged up and sold to a debt collection agency so I couldn't set up a direct debit, that was march, and since then I've had 4 texts of you and 4 negative marks on my credit file for late payment on a bill that I can't even get chance to pay, I just want to pay my bill, this is insane.

Hi @liamharrower199

Once a debt has been passed to a debt collection agency which usually happens once Vodafone have exhausted means of collection and correspondence has not resolved the situation then it's the debt collection agency a person needs to contact to arrange payments.

You maybe still receiving correspondence from Vodafone if you haven't made contact with the Debt Collection Agency to make payments.

Unfortunately if a marker has been placed on a person's Credit File then this would remain insitu for 6 years.

You can speak to the Vodafone Social Media Teams for clarification if you wish.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

It hasn't been sold to a debt collection agency ,I have already phoned them up and Vodafone haven't transferred the debt, since I missed my DD I wanted to restart it, they didn't even send me my final bill, I have a email from Vodafone saying my contract is being changed to PAYG and I will received my final bill via email in 22 days, not had it at all, no letters have come, no final bill has arrived and they haven't given me the details to pay, this is nuts, you haven't left a default just a missed payment market for past few months, give me a God damn chance to pay my bill, you haven't even sent it to a debt collection agency so I can pay it, it's been stuck in this world limbo for months, just give me my goddamn final bill and I will pay it, OMFG what is wrong with this place

The account would only have been terminated as a last resort @liamharrower199 and you would have received warnings before any action was taken.  It's also strange the number has been moved to PAYG and this certainly needs looking at closely.

Vodafone provide this information on the website: Missed Payments

Drop the Social Team a message through social channels, they will have all the necessary account access to see exactly what has happened.

This is happened over a forum how am I supposed to give you my details without it being seen by everyone, I have no idea how a company can say after I miss 1 ##~## payment that I can't pay it anymore and they will sell it to a debt collection agency without even giving me chance to pay it off, I am going to complain as this is insanity, you are all basically calling me a liar, I have emails and texts for proof, I just want to pay my bill so I can cancel Vodafone and never use this goddamn service again.
