keeping a phone number

My current vodafone contract is coming to an end, I have taken out another contract with Vodafone but through a different provider, I want to keep my original number with vodafone, but have been told I need to do a keep my number , which changes it to a pay as you go, as it is with a different provider, am I able to do this before my contract ends and who does this my current provider or my new provider?

Hi @lucydeanne13 

 

If you have taken out a Vodafone contract through a third party, the simplest and quickest way to get the number moved to the new contract is by porting out the expiring contract number to any other number on PAYG and back in on the new contract.

 

Simply text PAC to 65075 with your date of birth, providing you are out of contract there will no further charges and your number will be on the new contract within 48 hours probably sooner.  See here at the bottom of the page: Text PAC
