Hi, i'm quite frustrated by the online chat saying they can't block my IMEI for my stolen phone.
Apparently its because I didn't purchase the phone from vodafone.
They directed me to the manufacturer who i bought it from directly. I contacted them and they also said they would not be able to blacklist the phone.
I'm stuck now and appears to not be the first case the online support has refused to do this. It sounds ridiculous
I will need this for insurance purposes, along with proof of use of IMEI.

Morning @neuro99 👋 I know how important our phones are and I'm sorry to hear yours has been stolen - I'd also like to apologise that you didn't get the help you needed when you got in touch with us.
As long as you were using a Vodafone network SIM in the device, we can request this for you - please come and speak to my team on Twitter or Facebook, so we can get it sorted.

thanks, they were very prompt and helpful on the facebook chat. for future reference, I think it would be wise to raise awareness of this avenue of support, as it was so much better than the online chat in my experience.
