Sony model G3121 NUC is not accepted as the "Sim Network Unlock Pin"

Hello,

I've double checked the IMEI number and requested a NUC twice (to double check that ) 
When I insert the new SIM I'm asked for a "Sim Network Unlock pin" and so I carefully enter the supplied NUC but it is not accepted. Can you help please?

May I ask...

Is the alternative non Vodafone sim card activated i.e connects to mobile data  ?

Are you currently in the Uk ?

Do you have enough tries left which is explained in Unlock-Sony-Xperia. and Unlocking-Sony. 

Be careful not to use up all the attempts or it would become hardlocked and would then need to be sent off to have it's counter reset.

Instead contact the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they'll check with the Nuc department that the code is correct and or if there is an alternative Nuc.

I am in the UK and I did disable my mobile data earlier this week to use wifi only.

I'll enable data now & see what hepens with the next NUC.
