So this is month 6 of the ongoing unlocking problem. After 18years with Vodafone i finally decided that their customer service had declined so badly it was time to change.
I left Vodafone, went throught the procedures with the new provider and hey presto................................. my phone wont unlock to the new provider. I got the message come up "SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK"
After many many hours spent on the online chat, many hours spent waiting in line at vodafone stores, many hours listening to the same old "i can assure you this will work" drivel, i am still no closer to getting my phone unlocked.
The latest answer from in store staff is that i should now go to a Samsung store to see if they can unlock my phone.
I am at the point of giving up altogether and buying a new phone. I've now paid the new provider 6 months worth of subscription for nothing. Someone, somewhere (clearly no one in a vodafone shirt) has an answer to this?!

This has been raised on the forum many times. Vodafone should have provided a master unlock code, AKA MCK code at the same time as giving you the unlock NUC code, this is entered into the phone before using the NUC.
Eventually Vodafone will get this right and make sure the Vodafone best kept secret Samsung master code is given to the customer with the NUC.

Thanks, yeah tell me about it, I've asked for the master code today and online chat just love using the "NUC" line, fill out this form, fill out that form.
It's like no ones ever heard of this master code, tbh neither had I until I read through old messages on this forum.

I'd suggest to circumvent Live Chat and use 191 or even better the Vodafone Social Media Teams as they are aware of the mastercode @RichS
