Again, useless.

This is an absolute joke. I've been trying to get my phone and watch paired for 4 months now and keep getting the Maximum number of Devices error message. I've tried the workaround by deleting backups, refreshing apps and still not working. Spoke to several people on chat and phone keep getting the runaround or same script.

Having the same issue with my new watch. I received a text yesterday saying ‘Great news, your OneNumber calling service for One Number Secondary Product is now active. So you're all set to start keeping touch from your device using your linked mobile plan.’

received watch today and attempted to setup ‘mobile data’ with every attempt I get the ‘You’ve reached the top of the mountain’ message. I have tried all the suggestions in this thread, can you help?

I'm sure we'll be able to get your watch connected @Jasonplimley! Pop us a private message through one of our Social Channels and we'll take a look 👀

After a visit to my local Vodafone shop and a 3 hour wait, my watch is now connected. Thanks to Viktoria at Vodafone Bury.

Hi all - had read through this post with great trepidation having received my new Apple Watch SE from Vodafone and had the same “top of the mountain/too many subscriptions” problem with One Number.
Multiple calls to 191 but finally a solution which worked was to do an e-sim swap, to provision my one number plan against my Apple Watch EID number. The instructions I received were per below and worked within 24 hours of attempt:

Dear Customer,

? In order to activate your eSIM
? Kindly Log in to your account and go to Account settings
? Go to Swap your SIM, then Choose your watch from the drop down list (*“MobileSecondary” in my case)
? Click Go to eSIM swap and paste or type in your Apple Watch eSIM ID number (EID).

hope this helps some of you.

Above worked.

I received an Apple Watch series 6 and had the exact same problem.

I purchased a sim only plan via web chat and was told to wait until my number was ported and added to my account before buying my Watch. I waited and bought at the right time. The purchase process makes you link the watch to your existing plan.

You'd think that would be that. But I did get the same error as described by many others in this thread.

The steps above worked.

What seems to be happening here, is that the linking doesn't actually happen. The EID of the watch needs to be added to your Vodafone account for it to be linked to your compatible plan (I have RED 20GB). This should happen at purchase process, but evidently it doesn't.

After following those steps, the watch paired with the Vodafone plan after a couple of hours; it could take up to 24hrs.

Still no luck. Sending it back today. It's so frustrating, no one has a clue. Worst bit is that every time I call up and explain my complaint, it gets a bit longer. Its now a good 5 minutes before I even start to get to the point!
