Hi.
I have an issue with a iPhone 12 Pro charging port not working, I’ve check for debris or anything similar and it looks fine - leads don’t charge mine but charge my partners. I have had to switch to wireless charging which is much slower than wired.
I bought this phone with a pay as you go sim, (as I already had pay monthly sim free) in June 2021
like new phones are described as having ‘a 2 year warranty’. I was told by online chat that it is still under warranty and I should take it to the store for repair - I did this and was told by the store person that the 2 year warranty is only for pay monthly phones.
I cannot find the answer anywhere on vodafone website it just says 2 years for all iPhones!
my question is - Do pay as you go like new phones have a 2 year warranty?

Hey @tumph I hope you're doing well! As per our website, we offer a two-year warranty with every Pay monthly refurbished phone. Pay as you Go refurbished/ Like-New phones will therefore only have the standard 12 month warranty that comes with all Apple devices.

Hi - thank you for your response. It doesn’t state on VF website that it’s only pay monthly that have 24 month warranty it just says all refurbished iphones. I’ve attached the below screenshot

Thanks for popping that over @tumph I'm sorry for any confusion, as per our dedicated Pay As You Go page here you can see that clicking on any apple phone and then navigating to the overview section shows a statement that says that we are the UK's only major network to offer a two-year warranty with every Pay monthly refurbished phone. I've asked the support teams for further clarification on this but it may be worth you calling up and asking to speak to the Tech team as they will be able to check your warranty and the warranty length for your phone.
