Hi 

Just wondering if anyone else has received the iPhone 15 Pro Max?

I ordered at 1:54pm on 15th September with delivery due on 22/09 between 8 - 6pm. I have had no update through email about wait times or if it has been dispatched. When I click on track order it says 1-2 weeks https://myaccount.vodafone.co.uk/orders/search

When I go into my account it says 3-4 weeks and when I got in touch through live chat they said 2-3 weeks. If you order now it's 4-5 weeks trough Vodafone and through Apple it's 8 weeks.  

Does anyone actually have an idea what is going on? Surely they would have had an allocated amount when people were pre-ordering. Now everyone is just left in the dark.

I came here searching to see if anyone had received their Pro Max Natural, and it seems everyone is getting exactly the same automated response.

i ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max in natural titanium at 1:05pm on the 15th

I called 191 on the 22nd around midday to see what time collection would be, the lady seemed confused and could only confirm my current tariff! 
Then I tried the online chat, and I got a little further with them confirming I’d ordered the phone - what threw me was the down-payment showed pending for 4 days on my bank account and then it got cancelled on the 21st.

That prompted me calling to complain, she assured me that I was still in the queue, and all she could offer was cancelling my order and order a different phone that was in stock - I declined as I really wanted to upgrade from my 12 Pro.

 

so now I’ve just received the second message saying I’m on a 6 day back order!   I’d rather they were just honest and say they don’t know.

Sadly not. My order still saying on back order for 10 days but it’s said that for more than a week. I was told by assistant on 15th that id get my phone by the 6th but not heard anything. Seriously peed off :Sad_face:

I preordered on the 15th online for pro max and even selected the higher model 512gb as it had collection on 22sep.  Then yesterday I checked the status and it’s out of stock!  Feel quite awful that I’ve been tricked to sign up on preorder day with the expectation I would receive product in hand on 22sep.  I called vodafone several times and was advised, maybe tomorrow, 1-2 weeks, 3-4 weeks - even a member of staff told me he had the same problem !   Think I’ll make enquiries with the FCA, as also annoyed I consented to a credit check on the basis I would receive the item on the 22sep.  Really seems I’ve been misled by Vodafone.  It just seems Vodafone knew they could never fulfil their promise - but their gain is making customers renew their sim contracts.

Anyone had any updates today? 

Was told Monday by text I would receive an update today.  Nothing so far.  Called 191 but it’s really painful experience and a total waste of time.  

Got another text today to say items on back order for 6 days now. I was on back order for 3 days until today. The message said I would receive another update in 4 working days. I am beginning to wonder if we will get the phone before the IPhone 16 comes out!

I had a text on Monday saying they would update in 3 days which is today. Now they are saying this.

So that would take it to Monday. I honestly think this is probably going to take a few weeks now for pro max models. Not sure if everyone is getting this. Would be interesting if anyone that preordered bang on 1pm has received their device.

It does look like this will be weeks away rather than a few days. Would appreciate a realistic answer from them to say that it will take longer than expected and then we at least know 

Monday mine showed back order for 3 days, then Wednesday the status changed to 28sep -and wait for further notification once ready to collect.  But I am still to hear if that will happen.  Kind of don’t have any expectations as status does not even show despatched.  Mine is pro max 512 natural.   They keep mentioning compensation whenever I call - but I just want the phone that they promised I would receive on 22sep.
