iPhone15 Back Orders

Hi 

Just wondering if anyone else has received the iPhone 15 Pro Max?

I ordered at 1:54pm on 15th September with delivery due on 22/09 between 8 - 6pm. I have had no update through email about wait times or if it has been dispatched. When I click on track order it says 1-2 weeks https://myaccount.vodafone.co.uk/orders/search

When I go into my account it says 3-4 weeks and when I got in touch through live chat they said 2-3 weeks. If you order now it's 4-5 weeks trough Vodafone and through Apple it's 8 weeks.  

Does anyone actually have an idea what is going on? Surely they would have had an allocated amount when people were pre-ordering. Now everyone is just left in the dark.

My iPhone is just an upgrade so they won’t take any money. It’s been terrible with lack of communication or being mislead

i I wasn’t told about a delay on the 15th until I’d signed everything etc. Then I got a message saying a 6 day delay. Then another saying 10 days. Nothing since. 

if I didn’t pay my phone bill Vodafone would be on my back and calling me asking where my payment is 

lost all faith in them now. I was told my phone would be ready by the 6th but I’ve had no update and it still saying 10 day back order. That will probably get longer too. Not a happy customer

Hey. What time did your message come through? I’m still waiting and check my tracking daily but still saying 10 day back order. Tried customer service who were no help and unlike a few others on here I haven’t been offered any compensation either.

My tracking changed this evening to click and collect 11th October 

I’ll see if this actually happens and update on here if it turns up

I don’t think I’ll be renewing with Vodafone next year after this. I certainly won’t be recommending them to family or friends either. Misleadingly not told about any delay on the 15th until I’d already signed my upgrade etc. I was then told 6th October for delivery. Then I get message saying 4 day back order. Then another message about a 10 day back order. I tried customer service who were as much use as a chocolate teapot. They put links on here to the social platforms and offer to look into the issues but just tell you they are sorry and to keep watching the tracking. 
my partner preordered the same phone as myself with sky mobile on the 16th and got the phone delivered on the 22nd. Think I should have changed to Sky too as Vodafone obviously don’t care about loyal customers and only interested in taking money.

I finally got my phone on the 11th. Was rather late ⏰ n the day as I had it delivered to local store to collect but they had technical issues so didn’t collect it until 8pm

15th September so thought I’d receive it on release day but…..

a lady I work with is with EE and ordered on 20th September and got her phone today
