Another dead Sure Signal V3

You have to love the customer service from Vodafone. They provide a poor to non existant 3G/4G signal, then expect you to buy a SureSignal to access their network.

Then when the badly designed SureSignal V3 overheats and dies, ask you to buy another one to replace it -  which will no doubt die, based on the number of poor reviews and complaints these accessories appear to have.

To top it off, customer services reckon that because it was manufactured in 2013 then it has had its time and I should deffinatly buy a new one ! built in obselecence of just poorly engineered porducts, poorly manufactured backed up by poor customer service.

Thanks Vodafone. I'll keep it in mind when my opion is sought for the next corporate sourcing excercise or Innovation porject,

May I refer you to the following long running thread that concerns the V3 Sure Signal device @jk516696 You may get further support if you post there too.

So we've heard that even if a Sure Signal is out of its 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty Customer Services still replace it.

@jk516696 So we can assist you with this, please contact us using the information in the private message I've sent - we'll then be in touch to help you further.

Hi

As BoB has stated.. your unit should be replaced regardless of the Warranty status and strongly advise you report the failure and the way Vodafone have treated you to Trading Standards using details below.

Do not take no for an answer in respect of replacement and quote Vodafone's CEO email on page one and advice anyone refusing you they are in contradiction to an order given by him in agreement with Trading Standards.

On top of this you also have consumer protection on your side under Sale of Goods 1979 - Satisfactory Quality.

It is important to report all failed SureSignal V3 using the links below to:
