Hi
I am unable to get my Sure Signal 3 to connect to my BT Infinity Hub3, I've checked and my SS is registered aok, I've enabled Port Clamping on my BT Hub 3, I've reset my Sure Signal followed the trouble shooting guide but still no joy, any thoughts ?
best regards
Graham

Just to Add
The Power light is continually flashing and the right hand phone light is fixed orange which indicates an IP issue on the router according to the sure signal set up guide.
There is light flashing from the bottom of the sure signal and I have changed the cable to the router so not an issue there.
My Internet download speed = 36.2Mb
Upload speed = 8.4Mb
Ping 20ms
Jitter 1ms
Packet loss 0%
thanks
Graham

Hi Dave
That statement was back at the beginning of May13 as we are about to move into 2014 what progress has been made, is there any updates on this at all ?
Are any of the BT Hubs recommended to interoperate aok with the Sure Signal ?
thanks & regards
Graham

Hi Sukhi,
Ok thanks I've just ordered a Hub 4 from BT today at a one off cost so hopefully this will work with the SS.
Best regards

Hi, im not sure this will solve your problem as VSS3 does work with HH3, it does appear vodafone and BT don't seem to have a clue whats going on half the time.
It does seem its a bit hit and miss with alot of people but plenty of persiverance and i can assure you it does works.
I see you mentioned you have 'port clamping' switch on i would 1st disable this, and make sure all port forwarding is correct.
I really hope your HH4 works out the box for you. Any problems PM me and ill try and assist.

Hi cphilpot
Thanks for the update, yes I'm not sure that I have everything set up correctly you start questioning everything you have done. I noticed in the guide for BT Infinity that port clamping is to be selected but I'm not sure how to ensure that the port forwarding is correct, MTU is to be set at 1500 but I could not find MTU ?.
I hope that Hub4 is a plug and play but I'm beginning to doubt it I should have it delivered by BT on Monday.
cheers
Graham

Hi GrahamM,
Unfortuently due to restrictions put in place by by BT you are unable to change the MTU. You would need a third party router to do this.
I can send you a PM of what needs to be set if you wish.
