Confirmation email for Samsung S6 Edge?

Preordered the Samsung S6 Edge - Gold 64gb 21/03/15 on the phone.

 

Has anyone else pre-ordered the new Samsung S6 or S6 Edge and not received any details confirming upgrade/order?

 

Slightly concerned as I ordered the phone as soon as Vodafones website was back up and running last Friday and currently do not have a phone. So would like the comfort factor of knowing this has been ordered and will recieve on the 10th.

 

I have spoke to the livechat and everytime they can only say they see an order on the system and will recieve my phone as soon as its ready. I do not know if this means release date or when my order is processed...

Okay, I'm confused. 

 

Had my Edge on order since 23rd March and enquired on live chat as to when it would be delivered. They told me the order had been cancelled for some reason so he got the sales team to call me and they 'rebuilt' the order. The guy said it would be delivered tomorrow.

 

Just been on live chat again and I've got a totally different story and they see no record of the order being made again.

 

Really bizzare experience. I've got absolutely no idea if the phone will be delivered tomorrow or at all, or whether or not my order is live, let alone whether I get this case/charger or not!!!

Thought it was too good to be true! Finally got a web reference number and checked online, not only was it the wrong colour, but it stated that they were out of stock!! Rang 191 and eventually got the right colour ordered, but will have to wait up to three weeks for the phone! I am utterly flabbergasted with the whole situation and amazed about how Vodafone operate as a business!

I pre-ordered (Edge, Gold, 64GB) on Mar 23rd and have only received a single text message.  No email.  No tracking reference.  Whenever I call or go in store they can see my order, but they have no ID and no ETA.

 

Can someone let me know how I can get a reference to track this online?

 

Does anyone know when the Gold 64GB Edge might be in stock?

 

 

Been onto Live Chat again today, and Thomson told me that it will be delivered before the end of the week, just like Anita told me that it would arrive last Friday, to be honest, I won`t hold my breath!

Vodafone really need to take a long look at itself after this debacle, a statement would be a good start!

I can never seem to get hold of an advisor on Live Chat

 

"Live help.  Back shortly.  Please try again later."

 

All the time.

 

Also nobody on 191 or in-store could provide a reference ID, so I'm doubtful that Live Chat will be able to.

 

Laura - finally got through to Live Help.  They said :

 

"The web order number is not yet generated for your order, the reference number will not work in track your order"

 

So essentially there is nothing I can do other than call 191 or go instore and be told they have no idea when I will get it.
