Dongle number

How do I find out the number of my Vodafone dongle to register it on my sure signal.
I can't get my laptop to connect via my home network and want to use the dongle but have no signal.

Hi Zcookie, 

Are you able to place the SIM for your dongle into your phone and then key in *#100# to displayed it's number?
