Dual SIM phone & SS - need to boost 2G signal

I'm running a Galaxy S5 Duos dual-SIM phone. Standard phone, not rooted.

Like all other dual SIM phones one SIM can run 3G/4G whilst the other SIM can only run in 2G, which is very frustrating. Also I have to run a SureSignal V2 to get any signal at my house. The problem with this is that the SureSignal will only work with 3G so it won't recognise my other SIM only running 2G. This basically means whenever I'm home (and I work from home!) I can't get any signal for SIM2 although SIM1 (running 3G) is perfect.

My question is whether there is any way to make a SureSignal V2 recognise a 2G signal on my SIM2 or, if not, is there any devise out there that will give me a good 2G signal?

I'm not asking for support for the phone itself or its functionality just some way of boosting the 2G signal. The reason being the 2G, 3G & 4G signals in and around where I live are dreadful (third largest town in the UK) so I'm having to do their job for them. The phone and all its functionality would work fine if Vodafone actually provided me and my neighbours with a reasonable phone signal, but they don't.

That's a very different issue. I don't think Vodafone has ever sold any kind of 2G booster so you're asking them to supply you with a product that they don't stock.

As for poor signal, the network is gradually being upgraded but it will take a long time to bring all of the areas with poor signal up to scratch. I love only about 40 miles east of London and until recently my town had a poor signal in many parts. Now we have 4G and a better 3G signal in most parts of the town.
