Hello.
I'm running a Google Nexus 6P and I can receive MMS messages fine but I can't send them. Is it a settings issue? When I try to do the auto load of settings from vodafone it doesn't allow them to install. Not sure if this is due to it being Android 6 or not.
Any help would be grand!
Thank you.
Tom

Hi there
It could be an issue with the settings on your phone or an issue with the settings on your account. Have you checked with customer services that MMS is provisioned on your account?

Hi @tom4mos
It maybe a provisioning issue as indicated.
Android Settings are here.
Tap the Menu button
Tap Settings
Tap Wireless and networks or More... (depending on your version of Android)
Tap Mobile Networks
Tap Access point names
Tap the Menu button
Tap New APN
Enter the following data into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
Name - Vodafone Internet
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
Username - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
MMSC - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy - 212.183.137.12
MMS Port - 8799
Authentication type - PAP
APN type - If given a choice, select internet+mms, if the keyboard appears enter *
(As a check, the image below shows blue text in the fields you should have completed)
Tap the Menu button
Tap Save
Enable the newly-added APN by ensuring the line is ticked, or the radio button is lit by tapping on it
Check the notification bar for 4G, H, 3G, E or G with up and down arrows beside it, which will indicate your connection is working

You're welcome.
Hope you resolve this.
I'm sure your aware but I'd like to mention that mms are charged for separately to send and are not part of your sms texting allowance.

I phoned Vodafone and got these instructions sent to me by text. Sadly even after a reboot when you hit "Send" it just says "Sending" and then eventually "message not sent".
Dear Customer,
Touch the Apps icon located on the bottom middle of the screen
Touch Settings
Touch More
Scroll down and Touch Mobile networks
Tick Data Enabled
Touch Access Point Names
Touch the Menu key located on the bottom left of the handset
Tap on New APN
Tap Name and Enter Vodafone Internet & MMS, Tap OK
Tap APN and Enter: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Tap OK
Tap Proxy and Enter 212.183.137.012, Tap OK
Tap Port and Enter 8799, Tap OK
Tap Username
Enter wap, Tap OK
Tap Password
Enter wap, Tap OK
Tap MMSC and Enter http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms, Tap OK
Tap MMS proxy and Enter 212.183.137.012, Tap OK
Tap MMS port and Enter 8799, Tap OK
Scroll Down and Tap on APN Type and type Default
Tap the Menu key and Tap Save
Tap the circle to the right of the Vodafone MMS profile name you have just created to turn it green.
Thank You for Calling Vodafone.
Has anyone got this working??? I am on a SIM only contract with no bars on MMS (the support guy checked).

Yes - MMS should be included. Just spoke to them and they said its because my transfer from another network is still completing and it should work when the number transfers (I am on a temporary number for now). It will take until end of Monday to complete transfer from 3. Will try again then.
