I have been a loyal Vodafone customer for almost 10 years hover I will be unlikely to take out a new contract unless somebody speaks to me about my current issue. In error I left a call open for 10 hours incurring additional charges of over £250. I hoped that Vodafone would show goodwill and reduce the bill however I have been unable to speak to anyone empowered to help me but was promised contact within 72 hours. As yet no one has spoken to me. In fairness the vast majority of my dealings with Vodafone have been positive however this matter is leaving me feeling very frustrated not to mention somewhat poorer.

Hi @Brehat
I do sympathise with this situation your in and understand this was an error not on Vodafones part.
That's a long time for a call to be 'live' but I would think as far as Customer Services see it you could have been on an actual call talking to someone. 10 hours tho !
It's really Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat that can help you with this.
The Social Media Team here maybe able to further advise on what your options could be.
I appreciate you've tried them already but you really could do with asking for the situation to be escalated.

I accept fully that this error was mine not Vodafone's. All I want is the opportunity to speak with a representative and discuss 'goodwill' with a hint of 'softening the financial blow'. Hope springs eternal !
