I have been with Vodafone for about 13 years. My current contract ends in March 2017. So I get a call from the sales team with offers for me. I get offered a deal £13.50 for 8 GB unlimited calls and txt. So I went for it. I got the email which said I pay £13.50 for 6 months then full price after that. Well what an offer thanks this is exactly what anyone could obtain from the web site. I rang up and was told the offer was as the email (£13.50 for 6 months and full price after that) but I had been sold it as 13.50 for 12 months and even got a text from Vodafone 13.50 for 12 months (Jorden from Rotherham - see below) I was then told it was passed onto a manager to adjust the other 6 months from full price to half price. I left it 5 days rang again just to check it had been adjusted. Nothing had changed it was still the same. This meant I decided to cancel the order and the one I took out for the other 2 sim only deals. Let's see what happens now when we get near March but I am seriously thinking about trying the 3 network.
I just wonder why vodafone decide to call make offers and not hold to there word. i have had such a poor service from Vodafone for the last 2 years each time it's all down to an honesty issue. They offer one thing verbally and then retract it.
Why can I never get to speak to the person who sold the contracts.
I would appreciate it if someone could comment on why this happens since it takes up so much time to get it sorted.
