Hi
I have been using Sure Signal v1 device with BT Broadband for a while.
But when I recently changed my phone to an iPhone 5s, the call quality is now poor.
I've tried various troubleshooting suggestions on the forum:
1. factory reset of the Sure Signal device, several times, but no change.
The mobile signal is always very good, but call quality is always poor.
2. I tried changing ownership to another user and then back to me.
Any other suggestions ?

Hi col1n,
Poor call quality is usually due to internet problems and looking at your speed and traceroute details I would say that is your problem as well.
Firstly, your upload speed of .36mbps is quite minimal for the Sure Signal to work correctly. Vodafone recommend a download and a upload speed of at least 1mbps. the minimum upload limit is around .3 mbps
Secondly, there is significant latency on the trace route, any latency above 200ms is bad news for the Sure Signal. Steps 4,5,10 and 11 all show high latency.
I would suggest talking to B.T. about both problems, but firstly power down your router and leave off for 30 mins or so, then after rebooting your router carry out your speed test and trace route again and see if there is any improvement.
Regards,
Mike.
