Sure Signal V3

My SS is just over one month old, but seems to have developed a intermittent problem which is very frustrating. it has worked fine until last week but now the 3g signal is on and off, all the time more off than on. Also my partners phone cannot use the 3g signal, (when its on) even though its on my user list and she received the text confirming everything, I've followed the troubleshooting guide for this problem nothing seems to make a difference.

I managed to use Live Chat on friday, who informed me they had sorted the problem as the 3g signal had been off for a number of days. It was then off and on all over the weekend.

Hi Dazzer,

 

What colour are the lights on the Sure Signal? They should be white if all is working. If they are yellow/orange then there is likely an issue.

The lights are,  Power on and constant, with the next two on and constant. 

As I said its intermittent, so very frustrating.

It sounds like you might be experiencing a term called 'packet loss' when using the sure signal and you will need to call the Vodafone and they will put you through to their technical team.

 

As it's intermittent they might be able to correct it from their end.

Hi,

Its been three days since the update, and so far the signal has been on and constant. Also my partners phone has now connected to the signal. 

 

So the update seems to have cured the problems I had. Thanks.
