Sure Signal not connecting to Vodafone service

Help...  Sure Signal is not connecting.  Purchased 2 weeks ago and registered a few days ago.  Has never connected.  Trace fails

Is the sure signal a new model bought off Vodafone or a 2nd hand unit purchased off someone?

@Dropperman The light sequence you've mentioned indicates there may be an issue with the physical connection between your Sure Signal and your ISP (internet service provider) router. 

Please ensure you're using port one, on both your Sure Signal and your router. If possible, please try a different Ethernet cable.
