Sure Signal problem with main number

I have set up my sure signal and it is working well for the number I added.  Reception on the main number though is not improved at all.  If I try to add the main number again I get the usual msg about "must be a vodafone number" and "your number is already added".

Anyone know how to make it work with the main number?

@bigbiped

Is the main number directly from Vodafone or has it been recently ported onto the network?

If the number still isn't added on, our Live Chat team may be able to manually add this for you.

It was ported from Orange... but that was many years ago, probably 10.

Tonight it has just started working.  If that was something you guys at Vodafone did, thank you.

Unfortunately today it has stopped working again, by which I mean I have no enhanced signal.  My wife's phone, which is an identical S6 Edge, is working just fine, as it has done since I installed the Sure signal.

@bigbiped I can see your Vodafone Sure Signal is up to date on our network.

Please ensure that 3G is enabled on the phone that’s not working

Please remove your wife’s number and re add it. For more information on this, please watch this video.

Once you’ve done this, please follow perform a reset as shown below:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.
