My Sure Signal v1 finally gave up so I bought a new v3 and plugged it in. It won't connect. I have BT Infinity and access it via a Netgear D6400 router. All the portforwards are set up and i have even placed the address of the SS in the DMZ. The red light comes on, the first white light slowly flashes then after a period we just get flashing red light and solid orange lights on first and third icons. Trace tests and pings all suggest the router can rapidly reach the vodafone addresses. I read a lot of posts about trouble getting SS to connect via PPPoE/BT Infinity so I am now stuck with what to try.
All the BT Infinity posts I found offered thoughts about solving it with settings on HomeHub but I was not sure if anyone solved it on a non-BT router.
Any thoughts welcome

Thanks very much for this. The first link which highlighted that Vodafone had "fixed" something seems to be spot on. I just reset the VSS and it all lit up first time.
Much appreciated
