Ok, I resort to coming here after 4 days of bull from live chat, phone calls and a manager contacting me  V Long story short - I had my SIM card replaced (same number / same contract) that arrived last Thursday. I went from signal to none  On Friday (and Saturday and Sunday) tried to access the website - no joy - tried live chat, speaking to an operator (three times!) and a manager and STILL have no signal on my phone at home despite the Sure Signal appearing to work - PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

I have been told everything from "I've reset it and it will work in 30 minutes" to "It will work in 6 hours" to "It will work in 24 hours" to "You are not the registered owner so we can't help"!!!

VF sent me a replacement Sure Signal years ago and until recently have been managing this online no issues - now I have a phone with shiny new SIM that is entirely useless and a Sure Signal that appears to be working but similarly useless!!

HELP............................

@millet2010

My Vodafone was updated yesterday and you can now manage your Sure Signal.

When a SIM is changed, you need to remove the number as advised by @drey_p.

Once this has been done, reset the Sure Signal and add the number back on.

The final step is to reset the phone whilst in range of the Sure Signal.

Let us know if you have any further issues.

Hello, Thanks for contacting me.

serial number is 42151100601

The page doesn't work for me either. I've tried it on multiple browsers and devices. I was told my sure signal was set up via live chat and 36 hours later it's still flashing.

Good old reliable Vodafone as per usual. Seriously considering moving elsewhere when my contract runs out. The fact I pay for 4G, I'd like to think I shouldn't need to boost my signal from a telecommunications giant!!!

There is a known issue with the SureSignal page and at last check, Vodafone were hoping to have it up and running in about 24 - 48 hours or so.

You don't actually pay for 4G.  Your contract is airtime only and not for a particular type of signal.

Ok I'll rephrase for the pedantics! I pay a monthly fee. The fact it's neither 2g, 3 or 4g is my point!

Locky454 i don't think your wrong about buying 4g, before Vodafone gave every customer 4G for free (if their phone could handle it), I did pay for it, signed a 2 year contract and paid extra to get 4G (wasn't cheap either) , then 1 month later everyone got it at no extra cost(no refund for me though - was in contract)...4 months after that my signal dropped in my house to diddly squat...roll on 15 months later i decided enough is enough and bought a sure signal but guess what.....yup...same problem as everyone else on these forums, i feel your pain but I have been "guarenteed" that they will have it fixed by midnight...

As you require a SureSignal, it would indicate that you live in an area of poor signal.  No network can guarantee signal everywhere and being a mobile phone contract it means that you can move around and therefore if you were to go to an area with signal, you'd be able to use the services.

Vodafone- you are clearly aware that many many people are having issues with sure signal connection. Lots of people have contacted vodafone via live chat and over the phone and been given inaccurate information. I would appreciate it if you could somewhere, give an update of the status of the sure signal issues that are clearly nationally.

I would of thought this would of been done automatically, but clearly a gentle  request is needed.

Thanks Vodafone admin for completely ignoring my request. Could it be that you haven't a clue what to say!
