Vodafone Pebble - Huawei E272 - Snow Leopard 10.6.1 Connection Problem

I recently installed new OS X, Snow Leopard 10.6.1. I am using Vipnet Vodafone Carnet mobile internet. And now after update I cannot connect to internet. I connect via Huawei e272 usb modem with latest installed software VMC v3.04.08.04.

I manage to connect but I am not really on the internet. Only Skype is working. I cannot surf or check my mail. Safari eventually says that internet is not connected.

Anyone have the same problem? I know generally that Snow Leopard is not supported. Latest software sadly is not working for me it looks like.

Will VMC v3.04.09... solve these problem? Or is there maybe a solution for this?

Hi Sandrinho,

Unfortunately we can only support Vodafone UK users, as the software that these devices have been approved to use do vary from country to country. We would not have sufficient details on this particular version to be able to assist you I'm afraid

Any info or help would be good. I think here in Croatia is same software.
Just hoping that I won`t need to go back to 10.5.9.

I have had the same problem with 10.6.

Have a look at my post in this thread - the manual setup would work for you, but you would have to find out the password etc from your local provider or another user there. The other data (username etc) you should be able to copy from your present version.
