Hello,
I bought a used Sure Signal V1 and registered it on VF website. I've been trying to get it to work for past week. I've tried every possible solution posted on various forums. Ports are open (verified by PFPort Check), VPN is clamped. I've done short, long and factory resets, with and without ethernet cable. I waited 24 hours several times. I suspect I still cannot connect to VF servers for some reason as tracert shows the following:

I'm sorry for bumping and sapmming my own post. I forgot about the other info:
VSS V1 serial number: 21227737596
My public IP address is 86.144.67.4
Speedtest_ 67Mb/s downlink, 19Mb/s uplink.

Hi mikes1711,
Your speed test and ping test are fine.
Your IP address is on our whitelist, so no problems there either.
Your traceroute isn’t getting further than your router, so this suggests that this may be where the issue lies.
Check to make sure the following ports are open/forwarded:
Port Number
8 TCP UDP
50 TCP UDP
53 TCP UDP
67 UDP
68 UDP
123 UDP
500 UDP
1723 TCP UDP
4500 UDP
33434 - 33445 UDP
If they are, do you have an active firewall?
If so, try turning it off temporarily to see if the Sure Signal can then connect to our servers.
If this doesn’t help, try the unit in a different location, such as a family member or friend.

However the unit still shows no signs of being operational, the first light continue to blink and then turns solid. I suspect the connection has not been established yet (2nd light off). Am I right in assuming this might take some time (6 to 24 hours)?

Hi Matt,
I was travelling for work abroad this week and couldn't respond sooner. Tomorrow I'm going to take VSS to my friend's house and connect it there to see if this makes any difference.
I'll report back the findings.
