I have posted this into off topic as I can not see any reference to Vodafone Home phone and Broadband.
I have install the router and all is working but there one thing that is missing from the setting of the VDSL router that being a function to turn off DHCP, I have for the pasted 10 year had my own network running at home with a fully working server that is my DHCP & DNS server but for the first time in history I have just sign up for 18 month and got a bloody router that has no function in the GUI settings pages to turn OFF the DHCP server. So for now I will have to wait for 18 months before I can change ISP. thanks vodafone tech team for missing this one. If there is anyone out there that can offer me a firmware update to give me the function to turn OFF DHCP then please post it.

What approach can I take to get the PPPoE username and password? I spoke to LiveChat and 191 and on both occasions I was very polite. I explained that I spent a lot of money on my own router not long before switching to Vodafone. When I switched to Vodafone I was not informed of the requirement to use only their router. I would like to use my own router and I take full responsibility for it and I acknowledge that they won't be able to provide support if my own equipment causes any problems.
I explained all of this but was still refused. I'm trapped in contract now, activation was more than 30 days ago, so I can't use threatening to cancel as leverage.

I am in chat right now - being totally stonewalled by "Lucy".
It is against our policy, doesn't matter what people in the forums have said I am not allowed to give these to you.
I want to use my old Talk Talk router and then I can confirm if it's the line or the Vodafone router cuasing me hassle, but this chat is unfortunately going nowhere.

Nope, ended as expected. It actually went further, according to who I just spoke to that it is so against Vodafone policy that anybody handing over such details would face a disciplinary!!
So all you lucjy people with the details, you've probably got your agents fired
How am I supposed to know where the issue is? If I could use my Talk Talk router or the Openreach modem, pieces of kit I know are good, then I'd know if the line wasn't performing as it should. Right now it is either the line or the Vodafone router.
So I think that answers things for me. I wait around 10 days and if the line is considerably slower than I had with both BT & Talk Talk I'll simply move.

As my connection now drops to 60mb.
God I wish I'd just sucked up the price increase from Talk Talk.

Tak Talk, you must be having a laugh. Had a bad experience with them years ago - lesson learnt.
If they offered me free internet I would run away.

I had perfect connectivity from Talk Talk for 10 of the 18 months I was contracted them.
My line stabalised at 75mb on day two and never dropped any slower. I can count on one hand the number of times I lost connectivty in those 10 months. I left only because of the mid-contract price increase.

Absolutely bloody typical.
I personally cannot afford to be £50 out of pocket so I'm stuck with Vodafone for the next 18 months. Guess I'll have to try again to get my details.
