Ordered my upgrade to the Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB Gold 2hrs after the pre-orders went live on the 20th March. I was promised that it would be delivered on release day (10th April) and that I would recieve a free charger.
My contract changed over immediately to the new price plan and I recieved a tacking number for the "Track my order" section of the website.
All good? No.. that's where the communication ends. According to my tracking, I have a tick in the first box, that's it. It is currently sitting on:
Your order has been accepted.
Your order's been placed, but we're still waiting on stock from the manufacturer. We'll keep you updated by text and email.
I notice that this message has now changed from what it said previously.
Live chat - what is the point of this? The operators clearly don't understand English and have no idea what they're talking about. I have been told 4 times that I have to wait all day today, if I was told it would be delivered today, it will be. Well i'm sorry Vodafone, that is just a blatant lie!
I have been with Vodafone for 15 years and their service has just got progressively worse.
SIMPLE QUESTION - WHEN IS MY PHONE BEING DELIVERED???

FURTHER UPDATE:
I have just recieved an email telling me my phone is on its way... to my home address! I asked it to be delivered to my work address. If its delivered tomorrow, i'll let them off with this but I seriously have my doubts.
This however has not been updated in the "Track My Order", i'm still sitting on Stage 3.

Well I had only 2 ticks, went onto live chat who said I will get the phone imminently and then when I persisted, called me, then I got told my order had been cancelled, but no idea why. On pressing for an answer, was told Samsung had essentially cancelled my order, cos the package I am on was too cheap.

My order from 2/4/2015 was also cancelled, even though live chat kept telling me to be patient and they could see my order.
Vodafone then also reneged on the package I first agreed. On pressing why my order was cancelled, I was told that Samsung had cancelled the order because my original Vodafone package was too cheap!!
I placed a new order yesterday, but the first order is still "trackable" on the track my order link even though it was supposedly cancelled by the Vodafone fairies (because no-one knows who cancelled the order). Whether the 2nd order is actually still active, well I'm not even sure Vodafone can say.
It's a complete farce. I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor to be told there are no managers available and the unhelpful person in cancellations and upgrades was the only person I could speak to...

@ Gemma - I havent receieved a confirmation order or a tracking number. I was told that I would get a consignment number once in stock but I have seen other people on here that have at least got a tracking number to confirm their order has been placed and that it is not in stock yet.

@Distortia - My cancelled order also still looks like that...
