Vodafone state my existing contract which i paid early has been added to my new one, no contract

Okay, so i contacted vodafone a few months back, as i noticed that my contract end date was incorrect on my vodafone page. i was told that they were very sorry and there was a mistake on the account and that it would be changed to show the correct dates (7 months difference). i then asked a month later for an update, as it still showed the incorrect date, to be told that the date shown was correct and my upgrade date was october 17 (a 31 month contract) after discussing, it was agin proven that i was correct and received an apology and a promise that it would be updated to show the correct date. i have left it another month, and now again contacted the team, and am told that the date is correct, and noone has the authorisation to change it. after complaining, i was told that when i upgraded early (and paid the fee) those 7 months were added to my new contract. (so 24 + 7) even though i paid over £300 to pay off the existing contract.

i have asked them for a copy of the contract highlighting the clauses which show that this is correct, they have avoided the question, have said they would email me a ciopy of their terms and conditions but do not have a copy of the contract between us.

The upgrade was done through the chat service, and they said that a copy would be sent to me via email, it never arrived. ive asked for a copy to be sent, and for proof of the email that was sent back in march 2015. they are refusing to provide me with this information.

they are basically trelling me that i have a contract which they can not prove, or have any form of documentation that a contract even exists?

im not sure where to go with this, but im not happy to be paying for a 31 month contract without the prrof that a contract even exists.

no managers will help, ive even had chats termianted by them halfway through. do i have a right to terminate the contract and not pay them anything further if they cannot prove a contract even exists?
