I used the My Vodafone app on Tuesday to pay off some of my rather large o/s balance. It's now Thursday and Vodafone still haven't received the amount. I have called the bank and Visa about this debit card payment and they have advised it can take 3-5 working days for the money to come back to account.
I used the app as it was a convenient, quick way to make an immediate payment, turns out to not be the case.
I would warn anyone off using the automated services, wether that be voice, web or mobile apps, as it leaves me uncertain now if they will get the payment at all.
My hope is that they do, otherwise in future I will always be calling to speak to a human, and put my trust in them instead,

Please either provide a screenshot of your internet banking or take a picture of a bank statement showing the payment taken from your bank and send it over to us using the details provided in the private message.
We'll then be able to look into this for you.

@Colleen I am having the exact same problem that Dan above had. I made the payment, the money is earmarked for Vodafone, but Vodafone can't find it. I used the app to make the payment.
They told me to go to the store and bring evidence of payment, but I am finding that difficult as the payment hasn't yet appeared on the bank statement because Vodafone hasn't taken the money. Any help is appreciated.

@physdude - When the money as been taken from your bank account and shows this on your statement, please send us your details by following the instructions in this private message.
Please also include a screenshot or take a picture of it (deleting any other personal information) and we can help further.

The same has happened to me & im being told something different by everyone I speak to; the latest agent in Egypt had no clue what I meant! Paid my bill 21/8/17 using the online service; had several texts to my child's phone (not main account) asking for payment. I ignored as had been paid. Then money returned to me 4/9/17 but my bank didn't notify me & I didn't check my account that day. Then got a threatening text to my child yesterday so logged in confused & paid again after speaking to my bank. Money is still pending & this morning disconnected. Spoke to bank again who say Vodafone are failing to claim the money. Spoke to you twice and told u can't claim it and I have to pay by card; which I am not willing to do as the money has already left my account for 14 days. I can't understand why you allow people to make payments on a flawed system then charge them late payment fees when in fact they paid on time!!! Please send me a pm so I can screenshot the payment on my bank! Thanks
