missing credit on my dongle

topped up £15 on my dongle at about 7 am this morning everything fine 8.30 am told i`ve got no credit can someone look into this for me Please.

no downloads done or updates just browsed facebook for about 10 minuets

Have you topped up on this dongle before?

Do you know if the credit expires after 30 days or not?

 

I thought once you've topped up the credit disappears and you have 1GB of UK data for 30 days.

 

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

been using this dongle for about 2 years now and never had this problem before.

unsure as to whether or not the credit expires after 30 days

been into the local voda shop and there telling me that yes the credit was put on around 7 this morning

but i`d used it all by 7.30 .

as all i`d done was browse facebook and been on the vodapages i can`t see how i can of used all 2gb it that time .

even if my dongle was going at maximum it would be a bit much.

Thanks for the information, it’s unusual that you’ve used that much data in such a short time. Can you let us know how much you topped up and also what PAYG mobile broadband price plan you’re on?

 

The easiest way to get your price plan information is by logging on to My Vodafone. It'll show you one of these price plans:

 

£5 for 250MB lasting 30 days – minimum TopUp is therefore £5
£15 for 2GB lasting 30 days – minimum TopUp is therefore £15
£15 for 1GB – minimum TopUp is therefore £15

 

Let me know how you go on, and we’ll be in a position to offer more help.

I’m sorry that your post was missed.

 

Can I ask what the dongle is connected to? (PC, MAC, Laptop)

 

Also what APN settings are you using? You can see this in the Vodafone Mobile Broadband (VMB) Software.

 

Do you know if there was a software update or security update running in the background when you used the credit?

ok then i`m connected on a desktop pc

no background updates being done a far as i`m aware ceartnly none capable of using that much data in that space of time

Just out of interest are you getting redirected to a top up page when you try and browse the web using your dongle?

yes thats what started happening about 20 - 30 mins after i put the credit on my account
